The aim behind this project was to guide us into thinking about the site, the surrounding area, and the history.

Located in South New Brighton alongside the Avon-Heathcote Estuary, the final concept is designed for scientists to continue their research in a relaxed environment where they can recuperate.

Inspired by the purple seaweed found during a site visit, I kept to natural materials for the structure of the buildings and used pops of burgundy for colour. 

The shade coverings are based on the seaweed which stretches outwards, connecting the many buildings together.

This was the first time I had heard of, and used Twin Motion, and I absolutely loved it!
